We had a pretty good turn out for the annual meeting. We rode Coalmont OHV Park Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night we were all treated to dinner prepared by Roger. After dinner, the meeting took place. Club members had the option to attend in person or virtually.
President election: Andy Ridge remains the STLCA Emperor.
Secretary election: Chris Mueller was elected to this position.
Club rides. Our next club ride will be the Annual New Year’s Ride beginning at Coalmont OHV Park Friday 12/30 and leaving Saturday morning 12/31 to head south through the Cove expedition style exiting Sunday near Jasper on pavement. Other ride plans for the year will be posted once the details are available. If you have any suggestions for rides, please let us know. We’ll be trying to do these quarterly.
Club meetings. We would really like to start doing quarterly club meetings in addition to rides & work days. What we would like to try is to have a meeting in the Chattanooga area twice a year and another in the Nashville area twice a year. We will need a club member from each area to be a representative at these meetings and to pick a place to host it. It doesn’t have to be anything formal, just a chance to get together and spend some time together.
Club work days. We would also like to start doing quarterly work days in addition to rides & meetings. What we would like is for someone in the Chattanooga area and Nashville area to host these. Again, it doesn’t have to be anything formal, just a chance to get together and wrench together.
GSMTR.
Starting in 2023 GSMTR will be a 3 day event beginning on Thursday and ending Saturday.
All staff should be there Wednesday 6/14 to set up for the event. Attendees will be able to set up camp in the event area beginning Wednesday 6/14. Guided rides Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Band Friday night and Raffle Saturday night.
